*View the inside of the famous Spirit Of Progress train with and panoramic views of our Parlour car.

*Enjoy guided tours of the workshop and current projects that are happening.

*You will also have the chase to explore the inside of our locos including T357, P23, X31, J515 and C501 being home for its very first open day!

And for the first time! We will be running cab and carriage rides up and down our headshunt for the public to enjoy!

Seymour Railway Heritage Centre Inc. operates special passenger services throughout Victoria and Interstate utilising its extensive fleet of preserved diesel locomotives and air-conditioned steel and heritage wooden passenger carriages.

Our heritage rail services offer you the best experience possible by our dedicated volunteers and staff. 

Our Centre is located in the heart of Seymour, Victoria about 100 km North East of Melbourne and the Depot is served by both broad and standard gauge tracks providing excellent access to the entire rail network.
